7月31日 Running this RaceScroll to bottom of page 1st I AM RUNNING
IN A LONG DISTANCE RACE
Each morning when I rise. Each evening when I'm overcome. All Day.
I run The race of The Long Distance Runner!
A couple of us started together. It seemed a harmless enough thing. The crowds cheered, "yes!", "yes". So We All Began.
At the end of the 1st day we could no longer see one another. We could no longer see the crowds. I ran deep into the night, Not actually knowing how far anyone else was getting. Maybe they fell? Or stopped. Maybe they were outpacing me.
I ran. I ran my lungs out. My throat stuck to itself. I'll have to slow down and find my own pace. I have to rest. A little. Better keep running. OK!
Day faded to Night. Darkness bloomed into Day. Morning came only to find me still running. I had slowed a bit but I'm considering, uh ..
I have decided to sleep for a moment. Life passed by in its infinite circle. 3 hours later I popped up again, Sore but ready I took off again!
Running long distance races Is always a difficult task! You never know exactly where anyone is In reference to you. This is because Each of us Is running On a separate track. The tracks are all close to each other. Sometimes we hear the others But you can't actually see The other runners. This can make it very tough sometimes Because you’re just not sure If you can slow down.
If we could better gage The race Our life Even one Day This would be great.
So, as you run You must imagine Where everyone else is On the course. And what pace You should set For yourself. For we are not really allowed to set much of anything else.
This is actually quite difficult at first But it soon becomes self apparent As your constant pushing Your constant struggle Your constant progress Wears against your energy. Wears against what is left in your life.
So I run and I run and I run. Like all of us in this race. Having forgotten who I race Having forgotten way I race Having forgotten... What a Race Is! One foot reaching out in front of the other Never even hitting the ground any more. Running Running
We are the Runners of the Long distance Race!!!
GOD HAVE MERCY ON US ALL and take some for yourself We will all be fine
May I stop running soon???

here is a time to cheer. There is a time to stand very quietly by and hope. They are two very different times and should not be confused. Exercise a lot of care telling them apart. One is a hand up; the other may be a hand over.
Many Great things in life exist only in their own narrow window. How easy it is to forget,
That the time we picked up a small bird. How we heard that touching it, Might now have killed it. That, Its mother, It's Guardian Angle, Might not accept it back. That's sadness! Standing there with its heart beating in your hands. That's so wrong.
Sometimes we just can't Follow into that pale moonlight.

Making PeaceToday the world is more at peace. I have allowed myself some good feeling. Ah this is better. There are lots of things to be excited about and now I can call to them again. Thank-you so much for releasing me to my better side. I long to be here and now I am. Joy will flow through me today and I hope it lasts so long that I faint of it. Ah the morning comes with a thunder that it rarely does. A Majesty of bells and color. All cascading down and around and lifting us all, too new heights. Ah! for a moment. Ah! make it last. Yes be so free today. Go out and SHOUT. Ah, Hold tight for today we will ride life for all it's worth. I hope your ready life, cause I 'm a comin at you. And there is no stopping me. AH AH AH!
Tried to give the stuff away today! Can't find any Takers for happiness. Oh well, I''ll just have to FLY ALONE! And AWAY! WO00000SH! My dream has awoke with meI stood waiting in the darkness for eternity.
Rocks became dust.
Stars came and went.
I cried out into the void so many times.
I cried As loudly as I could.
I cried As softly as I could.
And low, an answer came back!
7月27日 Reach through my eyesThe importance of Friendship.
We learn lessons From each others lives. An Accidental meeting. And now there is a, "Someone else" to share with.
Sharing is good for all of our souls. It lets us come out of hiding for awhile. It lets us touch And more importantly It allows us To be touched.
It’s so nice When someone actually will touch you. Gently. Not hurting you. Just being there. Listening. Laughing. Crying. Sharing.
Our life’s takes place in the dark. It’s nice when someone Comes and in and lights up our space for a moment. Oh hold me for awhile. Real tight! It makes me feel That all is ok. Secure for a while.
I don’t need to see you. Just wrap your arms around me And Hold Tight.
I’ll let you know when it’s enough! My eyes close And I feel at peace. Warm and sleepy. My thoughts stop for a while. Oh, Peace and joy. Oh, How it’s like being surrounded by warm water. I enjoy this Very much.
It is good. Sing to me. I like to hear your voice. It’s soft And it fills me. I don’t need to hear the words. I need to hear the melody!
Look into my eyes And smile at me. Touch my soul. Reach through my eyes And place yourself in my heart.
Ah, That brings tears to my eyes. Joy, Not pain. Don’t move. Hardly breathe. Just become part of me for eternity.
That was easy. Why did we wait so long to share?
THANKS SO MUCH!!!!!!

How BIG is a "Small Stick Hut"? Just a little overwhelmed At the magnitude Of creating one of these things. Be nice to finish it, before it snows. Wonder if I’ll make it?
Have to get the roof on, And the windows in. A lot to do! Dreams are harder to see with your eyes open.. Next time I’ll build a "small stick hut"! (Nah! you'd make the same mistake again,HA!)
Fighting time and weather. It’s so huge (think smaller next time) and hard to get at. It’s not a lack of will, I have been pushing a little too hard, but is there any other way?
Well, back to heaven. Someone has to do the maintenance, even there!
Just came back in for a moment to say I found my second wind. I'm going at it like full speed again! Just some morning Blues, I guess. Will try to keep them around for a little reflection once and a while. Churn and Burn, boy! Got It! O.K.
Burn is right! The tar paper has reached 157 F in the sun. Brains fry at about 108-112 F Have to find my MEAT THERMOMETER

On a hot day in the southern desert of Africa I had wanted to go and speak to one of my favorite Stone Age hunters. He was sitting in the middle of a thorn bush. He was huddled in an attitude of the most intense concentration... but his friends would not let me get near him, saying "But don't you know, he is doing work of the utmost importance. He is making clouds."

Came in from the roof for a min. got a hat. Carrying shingles up is a lot of heavy work. Each pack weighs 75 pounds. Real crews have these neat little conveyer belt machines or helper people. I have to take all these roles on myself though.
Starting as early as possible is important for the heat gets really un-bear-able, so quickly. Working smart is the order of the day.
Each day I try to be smart. HA!
I looked at yesterdays work and even I was impressed. Now that actually says something since I'm not impressed with much. I suddenly wanted to go straight up to the top. Reach the cupola today.
It passed, as the sun started to bake me.
I went around to the side of the DOME where the sun "sets" and decided that is where I should actually have been working but it would take all day to reset up. Lots of places to go up from.
OH!, so many different ways to do this. OH A NORMAL ROOF. HA!
I know I can accomplish more today than even yesterday which was an inspired day. Let’s get to it.
Later.
7月22日 All under one RoofToday I looked at yesterday and said, "Oh did I really do that. Can I do yesterday over again?"
Oh well, I hope what ever is accepting in life, accepts yesterdays efforts as pretty good even with all the mistakes big mistakes I managed to slip in. Wonder why we make mistakes?
Maybe they are there to look at in our tomorrows! Didn't notice them when I did them, though.
Then again it was one of my BEST DAYS! How strange. 7月21日 TO DAD FROM DADSELF PRAISE
Ever PAT YOURSELF ON THE BACK?
Well our “Spirits” Need a certain amount of “Being Congratulated” To exist in a HEALTHY STATE.
When we don’t get acknowledgement of our Self Worth from around us, It’s time to CREATE This necessary SOUL FOOD From within.
When we FEEL GOOD about ourselves Then we can SHARE JOY with others. We can RADIATE WARMTH and GOOD FEELINGS.
It’s a good vicious cycle! Self doubt is very destructive. It will drag you to depression. So stop it before it can take hold. Reverse it if it has come to crush you. Cast it off by “PRAISING YOURSELF”.
Really simple. I like who I am today. I am good. I’m doing a great job. I like what I create.
Come on World catch on!
Now others can feel your POSITIVE GLOW and come to your side more easily. Yeah, it’s hard to group around a worried, sad person. It’s nice to soar with a HAPPY PERSON! BE HAPPY TODAY. FOR EVERYONE’S SAKE!!!
When we take off our armor We are all children underneath. Nourish the child to keep them well. Our children will carry our future.
Great writing Dome Mountain! Thanks, I’ll try this today!

GREETINGS
Happiness is not some elusive bird
Perched high above
Near the ceiling of our Domes
Which,
with all kinds of complicated scaffolds
and ladders,
we have to
carefully catch.
Happiness is an Element.
Which,
like the air,
IS EVERY WHERE!

7月14日 Rain
GREETINGS Welcome to Dome Mountain! Can your imagination come out and play today? It got suddenly darker, .. early evening, one night. The air cooled and the wind picked up. A pelting rain came down from overhead and even made the Dome with its open doors go loud.
I wondered for a moment and then took off a shoe, a sock, another shoe and sock. Stripping down to underpants I ventured out over the blue chip rock that bit at my feet. I guess I’m getting soft or the rocks are getting harder.
I wandered over to the “Flying Carpet” I had set up previously, and sat down into the chair very slowly. Oh, try to sit down; had to slip into it like a pool that was too cool. Down, Ok, the bottoms of my feet were the first to let go and they settled from their curled up cramp. Ok, and now my back, and it was done. And I sat back on the seventh Day and said all was good. . The last part of me to let go was my head which I finally through back and drank in the heavy rain. It had started as a cold stream and then I was at peace with it. Acclimatized for now.
The ocean pulled my body back as it pulsed and my snorkel closed. Quite descended as I did, and the underwater world became alive with colored flashes of fish. Great schools moving rhythmically to the washing waves above. Fish so beautiful that we buy them at stores, just swimming along doing whatever. Very serious fish. Hunting for food and not being hunted. Underwater wind storms on the ocean bottom, swirling up and moving the crawling animals. The light danced across the huge boulders and it was enough just to keep ones hands out in front of them fending off these almost collisions. A flip of my feet and I went closer to the bottom and tried to sit. The fish came back out of holes and started to nudge each other as they coursed round the rocks, dipping their heads in holes and nipping at unseen delicacies.
I opened my eyes and the rain rolled down my face, hot as it picked up speed. How could it be warm when it just had shocked my system with cold?
The water flowed down my face and chest and arms and dropped across my body and dropped off. It was extremely pleasing. Just water running over me. I was wet to the bone and it was thoroughly soothing.
I think when the entire body is wet; electric current from ourselves fuses around us more happily. It was quite invigorating. Nice. Very, very nice.
I looked around and it came to me that just about everything accept me was getting rained on pretty regularly. The Dome was glistening as the black tar paper turned wet and water streaked down upon the wood and flashing to the large rocks and finally to the ground. Only I, was new in this picture and I said, “Why do people go inside during the rain. Not lightning, just rain and thunder.
It rippled throughout the ravine that hugged the side of the Dome and continued both up and down the mountain. Loud belts of boom, ka-boom, crackling boom ka-boom! Great!
We Enjoy Your Visits! Overview
GREETINGS Welcome to Dome Mountain!
Grey Ghost
GREETINGS Welcome to Dome Mountain! Watching a new animal.
A few weeks ago I started a compost pile by 2 trees that looked like they may not be doing so well. They had been greatly disturbed by the placing of the Dome. They are on the hill going around the back side passing near the well. One has a paper wasps nest in it’s branches.
I had put a large quantity of uneaten, old, corn and flour, uncooked tacos on the pile; they had been eaten.
First I thought of "Rascal" the cat and wondered if he was playing. I let it go and went about stuff. I noticed a couple of days later some egg shells had been moved into the road nearby and down the hill. I added this to my other thought and concluded that it might be wind or some new animal has tried to drag something away.
It must be a small animal, bird, squirrel or raccoon, at max. Then another shell finding. Huh, Oh ….
Today, while standing half way out the kitchen door and just romancing the view, I saw something move, very quickly from left to right, but my eyes where not focused so close. It was dark long and slid. Scanning the area closely now a movement at the compost pile was spotted. Right in line with the last thing that was moving but 20 feet uphill and to the right.
I was very quite and just froze where I was so as not to become visible because it just turned its head and was scanning for movement.
I must have made noise before I froze. It looked both ways, then straight at me. I was rock and thus invisible.
A lager animal then I had anticipated was there. It had spotted me but then ruled me out as real and a threat ducked it head back down and was rummaging in the compost with its nose and paws.
What was it? Didn’t have my glasses on and Now I was sure that it didn’t have it’s on either.
I watched for a moment and then ducked backed and grabbed the binoculars that were on the saw table almost just waiting for this to happen. I can’t quite remember but I think I did leave them here just for something like this. Good pre-planning.
Was it a Raccoon, another cat, dog, coyote or, fox perhaps? These field glasses focus for both eyes which is good since mine are very different (childhood accident). I started focusing the left eye on the large focus slider and then fine tuned the right eye on the eye piece.
It was big but it wasn’t a good view. Could I get a little more outside so both eyes could more easily? I moved a little but it picked up the movement in its peripheral vision and up shot its head. Scanning again for confirmation of movement. I froze again.
No sound this time and it settled back to eating quickly. I refocused. Fox, coyote or possum, not possum, wrong color. It was a mixed grey with a long slinking tail that seemed puffed out like a cats tail when it is about to fight. Probably for the same reason, too appear larger than it really is and frighten its opponents. Only it was puffed out going down, strange, WOLF. NO too small, FOX. Probably, red or grey, hum.
It was predominantly grey but had the red markings outlining certain parts of its face and body. Maybe a very immature red fox? Maybe a coyote? Wow! They have those here but never saw one yet. Never saw a fox here either although I’ve seen a lot crossing the hill tops at the old farm.
A definite, new arrival, or one that had newly arrived in my vision, I guess. To think how long I’ve been here and not seen it before now.
It looked me straight in the eye again. I guess it must have red flagged me in its visual pattern because as it would scan from time to time, it would stop and stare right into my eyes.
Still frozen in awe. It was about 40 feet away, uphill eating and , see that when it looks straight at me it looks frightend and hulked down inside, scared, on the run, worried , hum. Fox wide face.
Yes, it was a fox of some sort. Wide face that only identified it when viewed head on. Then it moved. Fast as anything I’ve seen. It went totally out of view to the right, vanished. I moved ever so slow, farther to the left to try and find this vision again. Was it gone as it had appeared. Then it appeared on top of the large rock pile.
How could it move so fast and make no sound? |
